Obedience Trial Results!
State Breed Exhibition and Restricted Trial
KCC Park Lyndhurst
20 May 2000

The GSDCV annual SBE and Restricted Trial is often seen as one of the showcases for our breed and in the obedience area it is certainly one of the highlights for the year. It was unfortunate that other events at KCC Park that day forced us to set up the obedience rings in a less than ideal area, however you ‘live’n’learn’ and we intend to ensure that we have sole use of the venue for future SBE’s and Restricted Trials.

Winter came on with a vengeance on the Saturday morning, with our trialers and judges faced with gale force winds and driving rain. Val Bonney, our guest judge from Queensland was particularly impressed by the special effort we had made with the weatherman, as she had dressed in light clothes for the day! The first day ever she had judged in the rain we hear her say! Well I don’t know about that, all the times I have been in Queensland rain was always a part of the holiday!

The trial commenced at 9AM and despite the weather concluded just after lunch. The trial committee and helpers were:

Trial Committee:
Jane Morrey, Marilyn Wrigley, Alex Dordevic, Sharon Bacon

VCA Representative: Dawn Howard

First Aid Officer: Mandy Scrivens

Judges: Val Bonney, Neville Kay, Alan Adams

Stewards: Sue Speers, Mary Bell, Ken McKay, Alan Walker, Mary O’Sullivan

Helpers: General thanks to the many people who assisted with ring setup and pull down!
